About Us

Core Practice Training exists to equip schools, nurseries, residential children’s homes and other agencies with the practical skills and confidence needed to support children with a wide range of needs. We deliver high‑quality, accredited training that strengthens safeguarding, improves staff competence and ensures settings meet their statutory responsibilities.

Our roots are in EpiPen and anaphylaxis training, delivered by a recognised, accredited trainer with a background in primary teaching, residential childcare and CPD design. But our work doesn’t stop there. We also provide SEND training that helps staff understand and support diverse learning and behavioural needs, and we are expanding into Mental Health First Aid, ensuring teams can respond safely and compassionately to emotional and wellbeing challenges.

With over ten years of classroom experience and hands‑on residential care work, we understand the realities of busy education and care environments. Our training is practical, scenario‑based and built around real‑world situations, not theory alone. Staff leave feeling confident, capable and ready to act when it matters.
